Your post really helped me. B'cos nowhere is the amt for a non-judicil stamp paper specified. It is assumed that all indians are born with this knowledge much like the salmon which knows when to travel from the river to the sea.Unfortunately, i am not the regular indian and i was very confused. But i can tell u one thing. ur iitm helped you. They set a lot in store for a degree like that.
and i agree with the fact that i wish i knew to when , how and through what interpretation of signs should i know to bribe, that too sureptiously. this is something that should be taught in our curriculam like this story of oliver twist who is taught to pick pockets. Since this is an accomplished art, maybe we should go for advanced courses in this.

I think those Labys were actually trying to get some place so that they need not to rush in the last minute and they may have some friends in other labs where they shifted to so probably they would have thought k let's move to a comfirtable place until they get a new lab....

And what I would have done say if I'm in your place ... simple cordinate with the prof and inform everyone once the new lab is ready and It's upto them to come to the place which you have identified. (may be I will keep them informed if we have some options of labs to choose from)

hehehe and about that girl in the bus stop ..... pls do let me know which bust stop is that (and the timing of course).... let me also start leaving home early to catch a bus.... with the umbrella .... don't know Laila may come again anytime .....

And Girish just ignore it ....... may be the time that you spent on this you can go out with your lenses open you may get some gud snaps ..

well, many a time i did not enjoy the means. I think it is difficult 2 enjoy the bitter gourd juice while i drink it, but i can enjoy the goodness of that later. The diff is that, while drinking juice ppl may not ask u weired questions, but in certain decisions in life, ppl may laugh at u!!!!
thank god that I had and have engh friends. Most of them dont know the troubles i faced, but they believed in my abilities. That part I was happy....

really watever u wrote is absolutely true... its a pathetic situation here in most of the engineering colleges where v take up some other's work n just change the active voice of the paper into passive voice and submit a project. i should say true research is not encouraged.

Research is one thing but to make it a business is another. Every now and then we hear of great project works by researchers/ students but very few turn out as entrepreneurs or better still mass producers...
